The Nikon 1 J2 Mirrorless Digital Camera with 10-30mm VR Zoom Lens (Pink) takes the amazing J1 camera and adds even more impressive features: an incredibly sharp LCD monitor with twice the resolution, a Creative Mode that puts an arsenal of imaginative photo modes at your command (mind-bending panoramic photos, dramatic Night Portrait and Night Landscape functions, Backlighting, or total control with the PSAM mode), and a control that will highlight a single color of your choice in any photo.
Like the J1, this is a compact, easily portable digital camera. The mirrorless design allows the camera to be extra-small and lightweight, while still retaining all of the best qualities of larger cameras. Featuring a CX-format High-Speed AF CMOS Sensor and an EXPEED 3 dual image processor, this small image-maker always exceeds your expectations. The sensor enables great photos even in low light, while the EXPEED 3 enables superior system performance, high-speed processing, advanced phase detection autofocus and high-speed data transfer rates.
The included 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 VR Zoom Lens
features a 3x zoom range and a silent stepping AF motor (STM) which is
ideal for shooting video. It has image stabilization (VR II) to combat
the effects of camera shake, and the angle of view ranges from 29.4� to
77�. The lens's minimum focus distance is 7.87", and the filter size is
40.5mm. The 10-30mm is a versatile lens for applications ranging from
wide-angle landscapes to tight portrait shots. Three aspherical lens
elements ensure high image quality, even at the widest aperture
settings. The 10-30mm zoom range enables excellent capture of fine
detail at any focal length. Internal Focusing / IF technology
enables the compact, lightweight construction, as well as a close
focusing distance. A multi-layer lens coating helps reduce ghost and
flare to a negligible level.
The J2 camera has an interchangeable
lens system, allowing you to select from 4 optional 1 NIKKOR lenses.
There's even a lens designed specifically for movie filming. Swapping
lenses is quick and easy, enabling you to stay at-the-ready at all
times. Aside from the included 10-30mm lens, you may choose a single
focal length 10mm lens, a 30-110mm telephoto, a 10-100mm silent zoom
lens specifically designed for shooting video (as well as stills, of
course), or an extremely compact 11-27.5mm lens.

responsive autofocus and a fast shooting speed ensure that you never
miss an important moment. You get 10 fps continuous shooting speed in
autofocus mode, so you'll never lag behind the action. It's even
possible to shoot at 60fps with focus fixed at the first frame. An
impressive 73-point AF array gives you amazing clarity, even when
capturing fast-moving subjects. A large 3.0" LCD color screen features
921K-dot high resolution and an anti-glare coating for easy viewing,
even in bright sunlight.
